| Bonjour Clarisse! That is so awesome that you live in Paris! I went there this summer and I wanted to stay forever. It is so amazing to be able to do what you love and I love acting. Having tons of clothes is the dream! I love fashion and clothes and accessories and all of it. When I was in Paris, my family and I had the incredible privilege to see the Valentino exhibit at the Musee des Arts de la Mode et du Textile. There was mannequin after mannequin of gorgeous dresses, coats, and outfits designed by Valentino. We were lightheaded and wowed from seeing so much amazing beauty. I am awe-struck every time I go onto a set or go to an event because it is so exciting and amazing and each one is so different. Even when I go to a set many times, I feel the same extreme feeling of being amazed and excited. I think that feeling will never go away for me. I was recently star struck when I shook hands with Will Smith at the Hancock premiere. He's an amazing actor - both comedy and drama - and that's hard to do. When I met Zac Efron at the 2008 SAG Awards, I was definitely star struck. He is so nice to talk to and he's really cute! I'd say it's challenging and exhilarating because you always have to be on your toes to answer questions and to feel like you're saying the right things. But really, as long as I just be myself and be truthful, it's an opportunity to touch people's lives in a positive way. It's cool that you have different gifts than your Dad so you can share those gifts with the world. I play the guitar and absolutely love it! | Hey MaryCaroline, I don't know what kind of dog that was, but it reminded me of London Tiption's dog on the Suite Life. It looked so adorable in that cheatah outfit! The types of dancing that I do are Hip Hop and Jazz. I did a little bit of ballet when I was little. It was very specific. What I love so much about Hip Hop is you can get a lot of exersize and it is really free. With Jazz you have to be more strict and postured, like ballet. I do play an instrument. I play the Guitar. | Hey Justine, Thank you for saying those kind words. I do take dance classes. I do Jazz and Hip Hop. All of the combinations that we learned in Hip Hop and Jazz really helped me pick up all of the steps for the iShop music video. We had an incredible choreographer who worked with me and the other kids. The Music Video took only one weekend to make. We worked very quickly and efficiently and almost miraculously because we shot so much in such a short period of time. On Saturday, we did the store scenes and on Sunday we did the studio scenes. I like the Philiadelphia Eagles because my parents are from there. I hope they make it to the superbowl this year. That must have been totally awesome to meet Donavan Mcnabb. | Hi Marlene, My favorite scene to shoot on Desperate Housewives was.... that's a hard one, it's a tie between the screaming scene in the restaurant, the scene where I'm brushing the doll's hair, and the scene where I get the boys to jump off the roof. They were so fun to watch and even more fun to shoot! The boys never pick on me. The boys and I are friends. We always have a great time together and we make each other laugh. I did get to keep all of the clothes from the music video. I didn't get to wear all of the clothes that were purchased for the Music Video but I got to wear a lot of them! I had 11 wardrobe changes throughout the video.Can you believe it? It was a total fashion dream come true! You definitely can have my auto gragh. | Hey Timmy, I am going into 7th grade next year. I'll be 12 this July. My store is coming along great! About 1 week ago, I took my very first design to a seamstress and she is working on it. The store will have clothing, music, and other fun things like sunglasses, comic books, you know, the fun stuff! You asked, "Was it easy becoming famous?" My answer is.......No Way, Jose. Easy is not the word I would use to describe this particular choice of life. Auditioning and playing on the set, while it's the most fun thing to do in the world, it takes alot of effort. And also doing interviews and red carpets takes a lot of work and concentracion. But being on the set and being on red carpets are two of my favorite places in the world to be. I love those cameras! The show hadn't aired when I was called in to audition for the part of Amber Tate for iCarly, but I had already heard about iCarly because I loved watching Miranda Cosgrove on Drake and Josh. I was called in to audition at Nickelodeon studios, where iCarly is shot. It's a very cool place on Sunset Blvd. Normally they have callbacks for auditions before a part is booked, but this time they didn't. When I got the call I was thrilled to accept the part. I couldn't wait to work with Miranda and the rest of the cast. Everyone on iCarly was so fun and great to work with. They are as nice in person as they seem to be on tv. Even nicer! What I really noticed about them when I'm doing a scene with them is that they play off the other characters' emotions, like if I'm a little more chill in the scene then they'll bring it down, but if they're more tense then I'll be more tense. | Hi Emily, It's not me that's amazing. You're amazing to be able to work through everything having Diabetes. My Grandpa and my Great Great Aunt had diabetes and I know it can be hard. I used to watch my Grandpa do his daily blood sugar test. Since you emailed me about this, I will ask my mom to send a contribution to the JDRF. I would also be happy to do some type of benefit performance to raise more money for the JDRF. We're working on a Benefit Concert type of performance and I will let you know when we're ready to go with it. We had this amazing French teacher who helped us translate it to French and she also made it rhyme. It took 3 times the normal recording time, but it was totally worth it. Now, I'll be able to perfom it in all of the different places where people speak Freach. We researched how many people speak French. About 350 million speak the language. | Hi Lauren, With the lines, it depends on how many there are. Normally I can memorize them pretty quickly because it is so much fun! Sometimes it's a little hard because the lines can change on a dime or I might get the script the night before with changes, which is really common. The first time I ever had a script delivered to my house (for That's So Raven), it was really weird and really cool all at the same time. But it often happens. The writers are constantly working to make the script the best it can be, so you always have to be ready for anything. That's another thing that makes it so challenging and fun. | Hey Kimmy, Red Carpets are the best. I love them so much I wrote a song about it. They're always so fun and so different. What's really cool sometimes is when the organizers are creative with the carpet like for the Bee Movie they put down a black and yellow striped carpet. How cool is that? But no matter what color the carpet is, I love every single red carpet! If you would like to see more photos of red carpet events I've attended, you can go to rachel-fox.org. My parents always make sure that I stay grounded with a normal life like I do go to a regular school so I can just be 11 with my 11 year old friends. | Hi Hannah! Thanks for writing from London! I understand that you are just now watching the middle of Season 4 of Desperate Housewives. That's cool, because my best episodes (and most evil ;) ) are soon to come. The tornado episode was amazing to film! There were huge wind turbine machines on the street, but the tornado was digitally added. I think it looked very real! The destruction you see when you watch the episode is very real as you can see when you look at pics on this website in Photo Gallery. One of the coolest parts of filming the tornado episode was when we were coming out of the rubble of Mrs.McCluskey's house. It looked like we were coming out of a totally demolisehd, flattened house! But really, we came out of a very small underground space, like a room, that was built specially underneath the rubble of her house. It was like a fort with a tunnel. It was very cool to film that scene because it was at night, there were tons of people on Wisteria Lane and all of the children and four of the Housewives and Mr. Doug were in that scene. | Hey Jade, Thank you for all your compliments. My family likes to be active and always go for things. Sometimes, since my sister is a golfer, we have a family golf days and also we'll have family tennis games. In the summer, we are all about the beach and water sports. I love to surf, jet ski, and wakeboard. My sister, Stephanie and I learned to wakeboard at a camp last summer. We're going to go again this summer for sure. We also love to parasail. I have pictures of us parasailing in Florida. It's so cool! Stephanie and I both play guitar. Steffi has a red electric guitar and I have a pink acoustic Daisy Rock. I found a white electric guitar that's totally blinged out! I am counting the days til I get it. When I 'm with my friends, we normally go swimming and have sleepovers. For me, acting is all the fun I need! I love doing other things too like tennis playing, guitar playing, and as you know, singing and dancing. As far as my other songs coming out, I have just recorded a song called Long 2B Long. It's a ballad and it's about not wanting feel like you have to pretend to be someone that you're not in order to be liked but to feel like you can just be yourself. It's like sharing fun, cool, and sometimes serious things with your friends and people you've never met before. So it's a cool way of touching lives. I write and create most of the lyrics myself. | Hey Adam, Believe it or not, my grandpa's last name is Kovacs and he is also from Hungary. I do remember the girl who shot Carolyn. Her name is Kathleen Gati. I also speak some Spanish...como estas? :) I had an awesome time playing Kayla on Desperate Housewives. I'm sure the writer's have their reasons. And I know that all projects have a begining point, a middle point, and an ending point. So it's all good. Sometimes I am called to the set and the scene before mine is being shot so sometimes I do get to see a part of other scenes. As far as improvising goes, it really depends on the scene. Usually, we say what is written and the writers on Desperate Housewives are amazing, so it's very cool to say the words they write. | Hey Avery! Thank you SOO much! I can't even tell you how much your words mean to me. I had one of the best weekends of my life shooting the iShop music video. Yes, we had an awesome choreographer, Miss Cheryl Baxter. I had two rehearsals with Miss Cheryl by myself and one rehearsal with all the dancers so we could really nail down the dances. It took 2 full days to shoot, one in the store and one in the studio. Yes, we shot each scene, one at a time. This is so cool.....I had eleven (11) wardrobe changes during the video. I got to wear 11 different outfits in the video. My family is so excited about the iShop music video because it exceeded our expectations for it. | Dear Hien, Thank you so much! It was like a fun and fabulous fashion show getting to wear all of those different dresses and outfits. Buying clothes for girls my size can be hard sometimes. Most of the dresses in video are from Bloomingdales, my favorite store! The prices for the dresses in the video range from $48 to higher and I'm saying that because I think the prices are reasonable because buying excellent quality clothes that last a long time is a smart thing to do. Because I love fashion and clothes so much, I have decided to design my own line of clothing. It is going to be called Miss Fox Fashion. I love acting -- every single part of it.Making a character believable is the focus of what I do and I so appreciate you're complimenting that part of what I do. Beng on Hannah Montana was a blast! When I co-starred in HMontana, the show had not even aired yet, so Miley Cyrus wasn't well known like she is now. I love talking to fans and introducing myself and hearing them tell me their names and tell me all about themselves. It's important for me to make a person feel comfortable and connected. | Daer Ashley, It's totally fun but a challenge. The fun part is really getting to pull my self into some one who I'm not and totally become Kayla and forget about my life as Rachel Fox. That's bacically the whole thing of acting. That's also the challenging part though. Becoming someone compleatly differently than myself and my personallity. Some are clips of me on Desperate Housewives and on That's so Raven. But my favorite one is of my very first music video called iShop. It' totally fun and shows all about how great shopping is. There's singing, hip hop dancing, and of cource shopping! I'm working on a series of videos called, "Through the Eyes of Rachel Fox." | Hi Sofie from Denmark, Your name is so pretty, Sofie. I have had so many awesome scenes and experiences on Desperate Housewives. It's really hard to narrow it down. You can see many of the past season scenes on You Tube and other places. I think my favorite scene has to be... okay, it's a tie between three. In no particular order, number one is the scene with Miss Felicity in my (Kayla's bedroom) when I was brushing the dolls hair. Number two is the scene with Mr. Doug and I in my bedroom, putting together a puzzle, when he tells me I'm kicked out of the house. And number three, the ice cream screaming scene in Season 3. A little story...I screamed and ate tons of ice cream for about an hour to shoot that scene. It was crazy and fun! I've had some of the greatest moments of my life on the set of Desperate Housewives. | Hi Nicole, Thanks for the sweet compliments. It was really awesome to be on the set of Dancing with the Stars, but it was totally different from what it looks like on TV. When you're there, the dance floor is smaller -- they always say tv does add 10 pounds :) ! It's way more magnificent and grand in person. By that I mean that it's decorated so beautifully and the lights are everywhere, then watching the dancers dance live right in front of you -- that's the really amazing part. They are so quick and precise and that part looks different and better in person. The people were so nice. Miss Kristi Yamaguchi came up to us and we talked and took pictures. Mr. Jason also came over to our area and we introduced ourselves to Edyta and to him. Mr. Jason is so nice and so so tall. I got the chance to talk to Julianne and her brother and dancer, Derek. Julianne is incredibly nice. She told us that she has a singing career, too and that she sings country music with Brad Paisley. I'd love to see her in concert. Derek danced with Shannon Elizabeth. They're a perfect couple! They were both so funny and warm. I loved meeting Mario and Karina. She is so strong and disciplined and Mario shines with charisma. He was so funny during the rehearsal. He was making jokes and cutting up and talking with us at certain points, like after Miss Karina did a no-handed aerial and landed in a split. I did not get to see Miss Marly and one other person who had to rehearse at another time. "Through the Eyes of Rachel Fox" is definitely coming soon. | Hey Beth, I had an expirence of a life time watching the Dancing With the Stars! It was so great to meet all of the stars. They were all so nice. The two stars I really connected with were Miss Kristy Yamaguchi and Mario. Kritsy is an amazing dancer and what was really cool was she knew me from Desperate Housewives. That was exciting. What I loved about Mario was he had so much chrisma and he wasn't afraid to go for it. | Hey Shelby, To work with Mrs. Felicity is a dream! She is one of the greatest actresses and I learn a lot from her. In real life she is very sweet and silly and relates well with kids, but also she is very focused when she acts. She is really awesome. All my premiere and award show outfits are designed by different people. Sometimes I find a fabulous outfit at an adult clothing store and have it sized to fit me. | Hi Lucy, I love being 11, too! I've been taking dance for a couple of years. You must be a very good dancer. Isn't it great to find something you're passionate about? I dance jazz and hip hop. As far as my favorite, they're just different. Jazz is much more disciplined and has more boundaries and rules. Hip hop is much more free and there are less boundaries so I feel like I can go outside the box. I think it's good to have both --- discipline and freeness. I can't tell you where I dance but I have the most awesome dance teacher ever! What I love about him is when he teaches me the choreography, I understand it. The choreography he puts together is so outstanding. He's probably the best dancer I've ever seen. You'll see me dancing in my upcoming music videos. They'll be on YouTube and my website soon. | Hey Alyssa, My favorite tv show is, it's really close between three shows....Fresh Prince, iCarly, and Desperate Housewives. I love Hannah Montana, too. I'm really into playing tennis right now. I play on a tennis team and love playing singles. I love water sports, too, like surfing and wakeboarding. My favorite celebrity.... there are way too many... Four boys: Will Smith, Zac Efron, Nathen Kress and Jerry Trainor. Five girls: Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria-Parker, Hayden Panettiere, Miranda Cosgrove, and Jennette McCurdy. But really, there are so many fabulous actors and actresses whose work I admire. My favorite songs are two yet unreleased songs I've written and am working on. The first one is called iShop. It's recorded and almost done. It is a giggly-fun song about one of my fav things -- shopping! The second song is called Walking on the Red Carpet. | Hi Michelle, Teri Hatcher is so nice. She sparkles when she talks and, I agree, she is very pretty. I haven't shot a scene with her because our story lines on Desperate Housewives just haven't crossed yet, but we have spoken many times and she is always warm and fun to talk to. Her daughter, Emerson is really sweet. We were both shopping for beautiful dresses and we saw each other at a clothing store. Emerson was trying on different dresses with Miss Teri helping her choose and my Mom and I were doing the same thing. You should have seen the fabulous dress Miss Teri wore to the SAG Awards. Every time I walk down Wisteria Lane, it's just as amazing as the very first time I ever did. This is my second season on Desperate Housewives playing Kayla Scavo, Tom Scavo's daughter and Lynette Scavo's step-daughter. | Bonjour Olivia! I receive letters from people who are younger than me, my age, a little older than me, and a lot older than me. I think it's because I've worked different shows that appeal to different ages, like That's So Raven appeals to younger people and kids my age and Desperate Housewives appeals to people who are my age and older. I never get lonely on the set. I'm either hanging out with the boys, getting my hair and makeup done, learning with the set teacher, or acting with a ton of people around and on set. What gave me the idea of being an actress was when I was 5 years old and I did my first play. I loved the feeling of being up there with the other actors and having people clap and appreciate our acting. Also, when I was 7, I shot a commercial and the director treated me like a princess! There was lights and cameras and it was so beautiful and fun. If you love that sort of thing, you may enjoy being an actress, too! | Hi Marissa, I learned that I love acting by doing theatre. My mom registered my sister and me in theatre classes so that we would be very comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people.
