Hey Rachel!
I went to the cinema on the weekend and saw Dream House only because of the fact you were in it! Absolutely loved it, even though I'm usually not into that genre of movies but your acting was supurb!
I am an aspiring actress and would love to know what kept you motivated during the climb up to actually booking roles or even getting an agent and if you have any specific advice on how to get one? I live in London and always feel as if I am at a disadvantage to people that already live in LA, do you think it's just as hard? I have always loved acting and been doing it pro-actively since i was 7 so I really think it's time I got serious especially with all this thinking about the future and Uni soon! Here is a link to my Youtube where I make beauty videos as a hobby just if you'd like to check out sometime:

Hi Sandra,
Your Ask the Fox letter is amazing! I definitely appreciate your saying my acting was superb in Dream House.....Thank you from my heart.
The thing that motivates me is my absolute passion for acting -- portraying another person I've created based on a script and director, producers, and writers input. Doing the actual acting is the thing that motivates me.
I think there are many great agents and managers in London and great productions so I don't know if it's essential to go to Los Angeles to work. Follow your heart when you're deciding where you want to live and work. For me, it was an easy decision because there isn't tv and movie production in Ohio and when my family and I visited LA, we fell in love with it and didn't want to live anywhere else.
Thank you for sharing the link to your YouTube videos. I'll watch and comment soon. Definitely keep me posted on your career. Love every minute of the journey!

Rachel

Hey Rachel,
You are one of my favorite movie stars of all time. Where do you live? Had you ever met Abigail Breslin? I love the movie Spork. How do I get you reply and how do I reply you back? Please e-mail me at Valerieblue27@gmail.com Happy New Year. Please call me Blue

Hi Blue,
Happy New Year and thanks for your sweet Ask the Fox questions and compliments.
I live in the Los Angeles area and love it here. The weather is almost always perfect and there are a million things to do and see. The Hollywood sign is perfect, the Pacific Coast highway is perfect, and the view when you drive over the hill is perfect.
Yes, I have met Abigail Breslin at one of her premieres... I think it was Nim's Island. She is very sweet.
I'm glad you love Spork. It was tough playing such a horrifyingly mean person but it was great because Spork's message is to not listen to bullies, to love yourself for who you are, and to look to your family and friends for love and support if a bully tries to hurt you. It's an off-beat dark comedy and kind of addictive. I can quote most of it.... "Girl...this ain't no Vegas." hahaha
Thanks for saying I'm one of your favorite movie stars of all time. You are very sweet and I appreciate you as a fan.
From the Heart,
Rachel

When and with whom was your first kiss? And if you haven't had one why haven't you? you seem sweet and the type boys would like?
George Mitchell - Raleigh, North Carolina | USA
Well, George Mitchell..... that's such a personal question.
I'm not a person who kisses and tells... or posts pictures hahaha.
I'm in the sweetest place ever.
I hope everyone finds sweetness in their life.

Hi Rachel! I just saw dream house and I thought you were amazing. I was just wondering is acting hard, like how do you remember all of the lines. I've always wanted to be a actor of some sort but I have a horrible memory for that stuff and I stutter which is embarrassing.
Now I'm just going for singing since that's the only time i don't stutter and everyone thinks I'm an amazing songwriter, so if more people think that I'm a good singer and guitar player I might be able to meet you someday. :D

Hi Aaron,
Your compliment is amazing! Thanks for saying I was amazing in Dream House. :)
Yes, acting is not easy. It takes steely focus, patience, quickness, strength, great listening, and a wherewithal that you can't believe you have.
Did you know that Sylvester Stallone stuttered before he became an actor?
To this day, Rocky (just the first one) is one of my favorite movies. It's pure and clean and his acting is great. You can overcome stuttering if it is something you want to do, I suppose.
Singing and songwriting is also extremely difficult, as you know. I'd love to see your music so submit to Ask the Fox again and send me a link to your youtube page or however you post your music.
Create from your heart and soul and you will become what you were meant to become... as long as you keep going towards it. Keep in touch and share your creations.
From the Heart,
Rachel

Hi Rachel,
Just happened to catch the latest Melissa and Joey that you were in; great work! I love how they are expanding your character and your character’s family.
I was just wondering, do you have a favorite musical instrument (either that you play or in general)?
Best,
SeanSean Robbins - Albany, NY | United States
Hi Sean,
I'm glad you're enjoying Melissa & Joey and like Holly Reback and her family on the show. Melissa & Joey is one of the best and funniest shows I've ever seen!
My favorite musical instrument is a guitar. I love playing both acoustic and electric guitars, and I play in a couple of bands. My favorite guitar is Ibanez, and I have a beautiful white Ibanez that is my favorite.
I recently bid at a silent auction fundraiser and won an electric guitar signed by each member of Linkin Park! I love that guitar!
Thank you for complimenting my work on Melissa & Joey and thanks for Asking the Fox, Sean.

Hi Peter from Richmond Virginia,
You're awesome for saying that I'm the most talented actress ever! It's like saying goooooaaaaaaaalllll to a soccer player or cracking up at a standup comic's routine, or holding up your cell phone at a concert. Just the sweetest compliment you can give me, really :)
Thanks for loving my band. Please like my band's brand new facebook page. www.facebook.com/magnitudetheband.
Magnitude is going to play at an awesome club called The Mint and I'm so excited because we'll be performing covers and originals.
I hope to see you at a concert in Virginia. Thanks for Asking the Fox!

jessica harwed - toronto, Ontario Canada | Canada
Hi Jessica,
I think I've been an actress all my life. Hahaha... I mean that I'm sure it's what I'm born to do, which gives me the biggest sense of peace to have found that thing. That thing.
I started acting when I did my first play in theatre at the age of 5. I played Holly in a play called, "Santa Goes Commercial" at The Beck Center theatre.
I fell in love with the art of acting and the audience and the auditioning and the clapping and the pressure and the makeup and wardrobe, and every single solitary part of acting.
Thanks for Asking the Fox, Jessica! I hope you find That thing you were born to do!
From the Heart,
Rachel
