Working with Felicity Huffman, Doug Savant, Zane Huett, Brent and Shane Kinsman, and all of the people on the show is truly not describable. Every day like a fairy tale. I love playing evil characters since I'm not that way at all, but it allows me to totally explore what it's like to be that way. Also, thank you for saying that I'm a great singer. I'm so pleased that you especially like Long to Belong because it is a song that can really soothe the heart and lift people up. It's available on iTunes :)
As far as Season Six on Desperate Housewives, with Marc Cherry (the creator) and his amazing team, you never know who they'll bring back and who they'll take off of the show from season to season. My guitar...ahh... :) I got it at the Guitar Center here in Los Angeles. There is this sick wall of guitars there and I knew I wanted a white electric at the time and it fit into my arms perfectly and felt like butter when I played it. It was pushed out a bit further because I was inspired and created melodies to two new songs! I'd written lyrics before, but this is the first time I've created the music. So I'm going into the studio to bring these beautiful creations to life and they'll be on Singing in a Perfect World.

I have actually not been to London (we went to Paris and Monaco) but my family is thinking about going on a vacation there next summer and I can't wait. We are major tennis people and are excited to see Wimbledon in person. I've heard it's amazing in London!
For wakeboarding, my sister and I went to a summer camp up in Big Bear, California. If you love the water, I totally recomend you try this. It's hard to get up on the board at first, but the feeling you get once you're up is really amazing. Thanks for asking the Fox, Brianna!

Hi Agnes,
I understand how you're feeling. It's very frustrating when people are mean and say things that aren't true.
Here's what I did. I stayed strong and decided not to be revengeful. I thought of a way to take a bad thing that was out of my control and make it a good thing. I wrote and recorded Long to Belong and it was a great experience. Music is one of my escapes. It's healing and emotional and in tough times can be very uplifting. Always take the high road and hold your head high. Be confident in who you are and don't try to please anyone. Your true friends will become clear and will be standing by your side. Take the difficulty and allow it to make you stronger. I hope these words of encouragement will help you.
Just a side note -- the situation that caused me to write Long to Belong actually came all the way around and the people that were being mean later apologized. Believe it or not, we actually hang out sometimes and it's very beautiful. If I didn't stay strong or if I tried to get revenge, I don't think it would have turned out just this way -- the right way. Be happy in your own skin.

It's so nice to hear from you! I have such great memories of theatre at the Beck Center. The play, Cinderella, was so much fun and a great experience.
I did meet the Jonas Brothers at a premiere for Meet the Robinson's. They sang Year 3000 and they were fantastic. I spoke with Joe Jonas briefly at the after-party and he was very sweet. Their music is fun, happy, and inspiring. I saw them in concert at a Chevy Rocks the Future event in Los Angeles, and again, they were fantastic.
It touches me when you say that I am inspiring to others....you are so sweet to say that. It's also cool that you point out that it is hard work. It's really harder than I thought it ever could be but love and passion drive me and I hope drive you and everyone to do the things you were born to do.
On my next visit to Ohio, I'm going to visit The Beck Center and attend a show. When I do, I'll post it on twitter and would love to see you there!

Hi Merideth,
One of my favorite musicians is Hayley Williams, lead singer of Paramore. She has a very unique and different sound and look and, as far as I know, she writes a lot of her own lyrics and music. Her lyrics have meaning and don't just talk about this boy or that girl ... her lyrics are smart. I'm so excited to be going to one of Paramore's upcoming concerts. I cannot wait! I just bought their new CD - Brand New Eyes. I love Ignorance, Careful, and Brick by Boring Brick.

I wrote iShop when I was 10 and recorded it when I was 11. My inspiration was to sing about the fun of shopping. It's not serious or deep or snobby or anything other than being happy about enjoying shopping. Some people hate to shop, but so many people -- men, women, and children -- love to shop; just mull around the mall and shop. I think they can identify with loving new clothes and spinning out of the dressing room.

I just finished a new song called Keep Me Innocent and I actually composed the music for the song. It's very cool and it's an electric guitar song. I'll be recording it very soon but just worked on set last week and am behind on the recording. More about all of that later.
