Recording songs in the recording studio is so much fun! It takes a day to record a song, and I usually record for 3 or 4 hours, with rest, backup singing, and chilling in between. It takes about 2 full hours of singing to record a song. When I recorded iShop French, it took 6 singing hours (then longer to add in the rest, backup, and other parts) to record it since it was in French. We worked with a native French woman who was amazing and taught me to speak and sing each word and phrase. Everytime we go to the recording studio, we have the best time. Thank you for your compliments about my work on Desperate Housewives. Your words mean a lot. Yes, I did see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I absolutely loved it. It is brilliantly thought out and everyone was casted to perfection.Before I saw the movie, I knew about the plotline. I couldn't imagine it looking real and being done well. It was done to perfection and Brad Pitt was truly a genius in the role of Benjamin Button. He changed his voice through the ages and his acting was so believable. I hope he wins an Oscar. Taraji P. Henson was amazing as Queenie. I met her at the SAG awards and she is so sweet. I hope she wins an Oscar, too. As far a being with my friends, I think it's the same for most kids today -- we are so, so busy that it's hard to just hang out. About a year ago, I was dealing with some very mean girls at school and I don't get the games people play sometimes and it was crazy and that's when I wrote and recorded Long to Belong. I love the song because it gives me strength when things are tough, and then I remember to "be happy in my own skin and I won't give in....." You can print out the words and sing it, and feel a bit French and have a lot of fun. To answer your questions.... 1) When the new website is released, we will feature the winning video on it. So anyone who is still thinking about it...... go ahead and submit a video for the iShop Video Contest. There are some amazing submissions. I love every one! 2) There are so many fabulous stores, it's hard to name them all. I love department stores and little boutiques, and big boutiques, and really mostly all stores. Shopping is not a chore but something that I take my time to do. My mom and I enjoy the time together and make it an experience and just get lost in the fun of it all. They have so much energy and we always cut up and laugh a lot on set. Thanks for saying that I'm an amazing actress. You are so sweet. I think I look like I'm having so much fun because I really am! Acting, singing, dancing, recording, hanging out with my family, shopping.....I'm having a blast. There's a lot of hard work going on too, but I am definitely not complaining.
